Default WIP- MK1 escort van

thought i would share another project of mine
i started this awhile ago & didnt take many stage pics but ill put up what i have
started from a base mk1,i used plasticard for the box bit
so i got the shape of how it would be & fixed it on

first filler stages

after more filler i put on some primer to find any bits that needed work on

while i was doing the body work i was also making modds to the engine

more filler was needed

after i was happy it,it was time to pick a colour, that took mw awhile as i like alot but i settled for olympic blue

then started to build it back up

i used thin stripes to show were the doors would be

modified the cossie engine for it with bigger t34 turbo, swedish inlet & removed the cambelt cover

i then wanted rs2000 stripes on it so i made some out of blue tape, colour was good but they shrunk with the heat lol so i took it all off

so back to this look for now

& its now rolling on minilites

but during the build i dropped it so i need to do abit of work on the roof which can be seen in the pics,so when i do this it may get repainted a different colour.
thanks for looking

Looks awesome! What tape did you use for the shut lines, I really need to get some super-fine black stuff to outline some tail lights...
