lol colin,well satin black seems to dry smooth,always as for me.
r u sure the missus asnt hit a wall or a post cause for the paint to come off it got 2 be sharp/rough surface
is there any other colour on it from the other car maybe,if not then it prob wasnt a car.

 

lol i did quiz her about that but normaly she wld just say if she hit it like she does when she curbs the wheels but i will put the evidence to her as long as u haven't started of the end of my marrage lol although it has had a bang on that side before and the paint job was rubbish

u could look 4 a new door 4 it from a breakers.saves gettin it painted & bein ripped off.that way u could touch up the arch maybe & tidy's it up abit

t-cut the windows on my gatebil all back together looks spot on well chuffed spent 9 hours doing round the windows and scraping the excess back with a blunt plastic blade and there perfecto done them matt black

ive painted my wheels on the skyline as the white just didnt look right to me,
i think it looks hard as fook now,just like a skyline shud lolstill want to get some bigger wheels for the chrome rim


& want new wheels on the scoobie but as always i cant deside,the only wheels i like is the 1's that i want on most of my cars

baan making a few last minuite touch ups wish i done round the windows in matt black forst as were i have its gone so smooth and were i done satin 1st its bumpy were it went sticky first lol my transil lights are all black with chrome lights well really light silver as my chrome spray has fucked up for some reason !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

will try it again later when its warmed up and shook well lol

cant wait to get my gatebill decals and get it displayed my first model ive ever done and kept lol

evo will be treated to a damn good rub down then gloss black with matt black window surrounds and orange wheels

A while ago, I bought an black XR3 & blue GL Escort's. Boxed were a little damaged as expected, but the models were too. XR3 had a damaged headlight & GL had a damaged rear light. Messaged the seller, he mention'd he had these damaged models (pic above). Came to an agreement that if I paid Ł9 for the postage, I could have them. Recieved today, messaged seller & he's said that dont worry about the postage.

So, have got the following:
1 BA Escort (damaged no box)
1 Rothmans Escort (damaged no box)
1 Stobart Focus (damaged no box)
1 Escort GL (boxed)
2 Escort XR3 (mint, 1 box ok, 1 in the bin)

I have the spot lights off the BA one & the light cover off the other, just need reattaching.

Gonna try and find pics of the Escorts to see whats missing then see if I can get the parts.

May swap a black XR3 for a yellow one

 

i done some deep dish clovers and the don't look to bad.
not sure they are the best wheels for a mk3 .

Yesterday, I re-did my SunStar Escort GL.

Here's what it looked like before.







Wasnt happy with it realy.

Removed the bucket seats (re-fitted to TechArt Porsche 911) and replaced with standard seats, smaller exhaust (tubing from a few pages ago, middle size) & re positioned wheels.

So, mods ive done are
EsCos wheels, XR3 engine, s/s exhaust & ICE on parcel shelf.

Didnt add the rs owners club sunstrip and tax disk holder as I didnt think it went with the cars as its not an RS.

May put it on eBay in the new year, see how my other 2 go.

Still getting used to dads new camera.
