update on my mk2 rs2000 v8 x-pack its changed colour it was going to be a signal amber rep now its a signal orange rep simply i picked up the wrong can doing the second coat and thought initally its a bit darlker this second tin

but dont worry i like orange

 

get some pics up matt i love signal orange, did you put those decals on ur escos?

looks good the pin holes are reaction thet must have been something on the shell that the paint didnt like sandit and repaint is the only option

it's on the bumpers, by the boot, on the top of the doors above the windows and around the windscreen.

and should he sand the whole model or just the ares that are affected??

 

my bumpers went like that so i washed them in warm soapy water then sanded them.
he needs to sand the whole car as he would of been touching it,not right down to the metal just smooth it all off & give it 3 light coats of paint but let each coat dry.
leave it for a day then give it its final coat & it will stay shinny/smooth
but dont touch it while the other coats are drying as sweety fingers will make it react again,so always wash hands b4 picking it up.
if you use 600 wet&dry that will get it nice a smooth
preperation is important thats what give it its good finish

white with blue flakes u can buy the paint from halfords for a fiver for 900 ml its nice

 

i've just checked his sandpaper for him and he hasn't got any 600 left the closest he's got is 400 would that work?
