i did that when i pulled the bumpers off of mine then rubbed them down so they were smooth with the body then glued them back on

 

The back ones broke too but never mind lol

 

thats what happened to both of the bumpers on mine but i just glued them back on

ive put a little more filler on the mk2 as now decided to smooth the body kit all on

Update on my Escort

1st attempt on using the Milliput

Any advice

So how long does it take for this Milliput to set. 4-5hours?

 

escort looking good mate,i would leave it 24 hrs then it gone off proper & will sand nicer,
wot i do on milliput is get the shape best i can then its less work sanding,
i wait for it to go hard abit say 20 mins then give it a good rubb with wet fingers to smooth out any lines were u added more milliput,then get the shape better.its easier to do wen gone abit harder
