im going to build a wide arch kit onto a escort, i thought if i put filler straight to it, let it dry then get the shape my sanding it that would do ?

but everyone seems to use milliput ?? didnt know any advantages or disadvantages?

Oh right!

yeah milliput is the best thing to use 'coz if you only use filler to create a bodykit it doesn't work as i found out when i bought 1 off ebay which had been done with filler i noticed it started cracking and bits were starting to fall off so now im starting my own project im using milliput and you realy notice the results from it its tougher and last a hell of a lot longer.

i couldn't even get my money back from the guy i'd bought it from 'coz he'd cancelled his ebay account, which was a big bummer on that part!

but anyways good luck with what you have in mind for your escort and i hope it turns out realy good!

Milliput takes longer to dry Jimbo, so you can piss about getting to shape.

ah right ok, cause the idea i had, was to put filler on thick and make sure it meets the metal of the model properly, i thought it'd be ok

ill see how it goes with filler, as got loooooads of it, if not will take it back to metal and go with milliput

cheers mate, tbh i thought filler would be fine to work with as sand paper takes it down fine and can get it lovely and smooth will see how things pan out !

cheers chaps
