Yes mate, I have them all, also there are 2 silver wrc models, mudflaps are fitted different so got them both, so really there are 14 UT Escorts.

 

Rite, the shop had some of the tubeing for the exhausts. 2 lengnths of the large, lots of the medium & 1 pack of 3 of the small diameter.

Also had a few sunstar mk2 Escorts @ Ł24.99 (orange sport & white ghia) & 2 minichamps escort mk1s @ Ł19.99 (like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-Escort-1-...item3efb226ff0 ), also a red Capri 1700gt.

Let me know if anybody wants any of the tubing.

ive also just bought a 3ft length of the 5mm tubing and will be making some exhausts later today with milliput black backboxes and gonna polish the tubing i will do a couple free for each person on here as you have all helped me out before and then the rest will be going on ebay let me know if you would like some

Hi all , been viewing recent pics and topics with some interest , amazing cars i have to say..
I posted a few pics of a 1 18 transit i customised some time ago , but lost interest !
But the MK1 and MK2 Escorts really have re kindled my love of old Escorts.
I sold a Sunstar Mk2 on Ebay a few months ago , and now regret it
I recently won a Sunstar Citreon Xsara for Ł8 on Ebay ! bargain..with the idea of butchering it for the wheels , seats and other bits for a new MK2 project , its not arrived yet but found a pic on the net looks to pretty to rip apart ! but only time will tell.

There cracking mate ive now found 3 of 4 spot lamps i know number four is someplace.

My Landrover still hasnt showed up if it doesnt soon they will be named and shamed

 

dead right u should name and shame them anyway for the length of time have you got the bits the spot lamps stick too ill give you some exhausts for them mate

the wheels mate are off a 1:24 jada datsun they sell on ebay for about Ł7 and about Ł7 p+p cos ive only seen them from the us

they suit all fords very well

 

good idea. i butched the same car . the rollcage came in handy. the wheels are also nice and luckly i had a set of low profile tyres that fitted straight on them. the spoiler ended up been altered to fit my focus rs .

 

They are nice looking wheels and look the mutts on your MK1
Never thought of 1/24 scale big wheels on a 1/18th..

 

no mate i brought them,they are off a 1/24 car.
like the cortina,mt dad had loads of them & has 1 sat in his garage now,been there for 4 years now,think he savin it for me

 

yea they kinda work very well petey off here buys 1:24 cars all the time the jada 1s for wheels cages and exhausts n stuff for his jap 1:18 cars lol

 

I'm not a citreon fan but its a great looking WRC car ! and it seems a shame to rip it apart (even if its a french car !) i think i will keep it for display and source some wheels for the up coming MK2 project , Preferably a wide arch rally version or a Sport..
If anyone has a reasonably priced MK2 that they would like to sell please let me know.

We bought another Fusion this year ! boring car i know but with 2 children and 3 jack russell terriers practical cars take priority !
