I’d be more Concerned about your customer service. After not renewing my policy, I’m still getting threatening letters and emails telling me you’re cancelling my instalment plan, it may affect my credit rating, you’re contacting the insurance database to let other insurance companies know etc.

I CANCELLED MY INSURANCE NOT YOU. I DIDN’T RENEW AS I WENT ELSEWHERE FOR A BETTER PRICE AND COVER.

3 different phone calls on 3 different days to 3 different departments, to get put through to someone else. To still get this shit happening.

I’m sure you have many satisfied customers, but my recommendation to anyone is AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the message and sorry to learn of the issues you have been facing after cancelling your policy. Could you please message me your full name / postcode and I can have a member of our customer service team look into.

Hazarding a guess I'd say having cancelled the policy whilst still 'live' you may still have had monies outstanding with the Finance provider and hence these issues have arisen. I'm hopeful we can sort though.

Thanks,

Dan

No Dan the policy was not live.
all monies had been paid.
I received my renewal quote and was not happy so I looked around for more quotes.
I found a better quote.

I phoned the number given and spoke to Mollie. She told me she had marked my account as non renewal and my proof of no claims would be forwarded.

2 days later I’m greeted with a letter from the instalment company telling me I need to pay or my new policy would be terminated and they would require full payment etc etc. I tried to call them and of course you can’t talk to them, it’s all options and AI.
so I call your company back and speak to a Sophie from memory, who apologies and tells me that is just an error on their behalf, I shouldn’t worry they are sorry blah blah blah.

So today I get an email saying I’ve had my instalment plan terminated due to default on payment, if I don’t pay the full amount by tomorrow my policy will be cancelled, databases informed, etc etc etc.

If this in anyway impacts my credit rating, ability to get insurance I will take legal action.

I don’t have a policy with you, I don’t have a credit agreement with you I never will again.
