Default Adrian Flux - Insurance Result!

Just had a quote from adrian flux, after being with need2insure for 2 years and its under half what i paid last year with them, who re-quoted me this year and it was more expensive than last. I was previously with flux for 5+ years and need2insure suddenly came in cheaper...
Saved myself £150+
Just goes to show you have to ring round every year to get the best deal!

I managed to half my renewal quote from Flux by going to 'go compare' getting a better price and calling Flux back.

its bullshit the fsa should make insurance companies offer you there best possible price just like what has been done with the train service its criminal

they insurance companies seem to just make it up as they go along and dont answer to anyone these days

Do you expect shop keepers to always sell you products at their cheapest price? No, so why should insurers be the same. It's annoying, but then it's no hardship to do a bit of shopping around first.

Anyone who just accepts the renewal quote only has themselves to blame.

Flux was the only broker who could insure my Cortina.

Not many people touch cars that are heavily modified so it had to be Flux, but the price was good to be fair.

Def pays to shop around as annoying as it seems...
It baffles me how one company wants £1000+ and others wants circa £200... Its the same car on the same roads with the same driver? Highstreet shopping isn't that varied in price!

But you are forced to buy car insurance!
Shop keepers don't keep your name on a database and fine you when you don't go buy stuff from their shop

always compare on the internet sites and then i phone my current insurer and say i've been quoted cheaper with you, they always say that's for new customers but we will allow it for you as its been quoted

they must think i will not do it again next year and make some money back, but we have the same conversation four years running now

I am with swift cover for my daily, time to renew and did a comparison and swift cover came in cheapest, got my renewal through and it's cheaper still so I'll just be staying with them for another year.
It's so easy now with comparison sites, remember before calling up and giving them all your details including your first pets name, what you had for tea last Wednesday just to get a ridiculous qoute.

You're not forced to own a car, drive a car, or need a car.

Definitely yes. Give them a call. It's a company owned by enthusiasts so they will quote you on high performance stuff.
