What is the general age of evo owners on here and what premiums do you pay?

Im 29 and my heavy modded FrS costs me just short of £500 a year with all mods declaired....

My insurance company wont insure me on an evo until im 30?? Wtf lol

And im seeing quotes of like £2k....

 

You can't be looking in the right places. Mine was only £4k when I was 18. It was around £1300 last time with mods.

Insurance goes down massively the longer you had the car. I.e. I've had mine over 5 years so insurance is MUCH cheaper as they know you haven't claimed.

 

I'm 46 soon and my Mak with all mods declared is £418..

mine is £440 on a multicar with Aviva!!

 

Im with boncaster for my focus,

They wont insure me on an evo till im 30...

Need to insure have been best so far at around £1100
But coming from a declared 550+ bhp modded car to a std evo 9 i think the price is ridiculas tbh...
Makes me condiser an escos for a daily driver instead!!

Sold my Evo VII XT330 about 18months ago, was with Pace Ward off the MLR, was paying £400, I was 43 at the time.

 

21, 3 points, 2 fault claims, 2 years ncb, £2500

 

50 !!!!!!!!!!! all mods declared, ( 550BHP )
Pace ward 420 fully comp.

 

Mines £675 28 years old 8 fq340 MR 4000 miles per year garaged.

 

evo 8 fq400mr im 33 years old 1 years no claims bonus 3000 miles per year and garaged £556 with need to insure with all mods declared.
