Well it's renewal time for me. My renewal quote was £740 from Admiral with 4 years no claims and mods declared with £350excess so thought I'd take a look around. I got a quote from admiral on standard 1.8 focus on comparison website, even though I declared mods on it. It was £530 with £500excess.
Went to Greenlight who quoted £599 with £250excess, all covered and declared. Then tried Adrian Flux who quoted £537 with £500 excess but went up to £616 with added extras like excess cover (reduces to nil in a claim) and breakdown etc.
Called Need2Insure and for 10k miles as per other quotes, it was £1040 or £530 on 5k limited miles.
And today I rang Brentacre who got it down to £499 with £350excess with key cover and no premium changes for any cosmetic mods.

Tempted by Brentacre mostly. Anyone got any others I could try?

 

ive just left admiral to go with 'qoute me happy' as a alot cheaper for better package
both cars are now insured with them
