Default Accident in Company Pool Car

I recently had an accident in a company pool car, which was my fault. What impact does this have on the insurance on my car? I'm getting conflicting information ranging from no impact as it is the company who have had the accident to I have to declare it as an accident when I renew. Can anyone in the know give me a definate answer?

Company vehicles should be declared as it's all going to go through the insurance, but as it's a pool car you need to find out from the fleet manager who's name has gone down on the report first. If there is no name as it's the pool car then it's all gravy but if your name has found it's way into the system then it's in there somewhere.

I had plenty of accidnrts when I used to drive a bus but as bus insurance is different to car insurance none of the 35+ I had counted

As said though, speak to whoever does your fleet stuff to confirm. I do mine and I generally tend to use the spare van which is good in a way that I don't pay tax on it but on the other hand I can't get any no claims from the company as I don't have a vehicle allocated to me so swings and roundabout.
