My NMS Stage 2 head should be here early part of next week, then it's time to play the Cam lottery and if all goes well up to APT for a 220bhp setup

Newman cam or Turbosystems cam without a doubt would be my choice, your getting well good power for still being on MFI, seriously impressed

Unfortunatley i'm skint so it's going to be standard Cam/lifters for now.
220 is what i'm hoping for it does all depend on what the old MFI sytem can squirt out!! The rest of the car is spec'd for it though!

I really like the standard cam, makes the car really drivable. Chasing power can be expensive, going through a CTS stage 2+ box a year is not cheap servicing which is why I have reduced my power.

The stack dash is great, looks awesome in the car, i've got stack dials in the centre vents as well, the dash itself does rev counter, speedo, oil-pressure, water-temperature, fuel-pressure, voltmeter, oil-temperature, Battery Voltage.
I've also got a Stack dials for air temp, exhaust temp, oil pressure.

And then a colins monitor pro which monitors all the same stuff but reads the data from the data port of the ECU

Guess you could say im paranoid about the engine, but's its well monitored

Yeah the standard cam profile is good lots of people stay with it from what i've read and it's cheap too!
lol nothing wrong with plenty of monitoring!! I've just got Oil pressure and temperature, but fuel pressure would be nice and also i'm looking at in car knock warning systems.
Always good to know whats going on with your engine!

What's your opinion on the flush look vents, im not certain about if I should keep them or loose them, can't help thinking about a carbon bonnet at the moment
