Looks very nice Dave and Helen
What mods has it got already? I see it has some nice Ultralite Atecs on there. Anything else?
Before any trackwork, decent pads (Carbotech XP8 or maybe even XP10 IMHO), braided brake hoses and a fluid change to some proper brake fluid are a must. That's all my 260 ran for 2 years of extensive track work.
Glad to hear the power is being upped, 360 isn't shy, but at 420 bhp 9/10 cars you come up against on track or the road will be slower

500bhp cossie is just such a massively varied array of cars in the first place.
For example, it could be JB's saph, or Rainbirds Escos on his old setup, the difference between the two is monumental in terms of performance on track.
Using Si B's old 480bhp saph as an example of the middle grond though, it was slower laptimes at the ring than Nigel does now in a 340bhp Evo!

Chip summed it up nicely Dave
At Donno Christmas 07, in the wet my 320 bhp Black Evo was all over Dangerous and his 5**+ bhp Escort - brakes, corners etc. He just piled away down the straights and held me up everywhere else.
Very frustrating, but showed me perfectly how competent an Evo is.
I also lap Combe as quick in the Black Evo, as my old Cossie did. The Cossie was ok handling wise - very average Cossie set up, and decent 476 bhp power wise.
Yet my Evo with mild mods, coilovers, R888s, pads as I mentioned to you above is just as quick.
I'm quite sure there's a 320 bhp Cossie on here that could prob run rings around my 590 bhp Silver Evo. So much down to the driver IMHO and of course the basic car spec.
I'd say an average Evo 420 bhp would be as quick as the average 500 bhp Cossie, if you do want to sum it up in massively generalised way.
While they're not excempt from failure, I dare say you'll do a damn site more miles on track than the average 500 bhp Cossie too!
2 years of caining my Black car took, 4 Ring trips, track days in all weathers, 2 MLR sprints and tons of road abuse - 15/16k miles.
One track rod end Ł27 One clutch Ł600 (due to launching at the Sprints). The only mechanical failures it had.
I'll enjoy seeing you guys enjoying yourselves on track soon

it has all the ecu you need already
its fully mappable with every single feature you can think of as standard
launch control, switchable maps for race fuel everything spare inputs and outputs
