indeed it is, and no one would argue that. but its not a wheel thats made by a firm who used to make steering wheels for f1 cars is it

right just to add since i sourced these springs through joe iv just asked him what they are and so you all know im not talking shit they are from an old cosworth dfr or dfv i think he said so are actualy f1 valve springs so i was wrong to quote f1 spec but didnt want to say untill i was sure...you can all take the piss as your all so knowledgeable but havent even heard of a f1 valve spring being fitted to a yb from an engine of the same era..i was going to use these springs as weve used them in a few fancy engines and know they work well....but hey you lot know better and find it funny to take the piss when infact we are using f1 springs!!!!
also chip you know it all iv actualy been present when joe has taken apart and rebuilt v10 f1 engines as late as a 2007!!!why do you feel the need to comment on someones abality when you know fuck all about them????
joe has been flown out all over the world to sort certain f1 cars be it not a current 2009 but say 2 year old one..
just because you might not have the knowledge (or even anyone you know)to build an f1 engine doesnt mean that others havent!!!

as stated the said springs are f1 valve springs!!!now you know but dont worry nothing in our engines will be as good a quality as yours mate so no need to feel inferior or lose sleep over anyone that might be a better engine builder than the shead!!!

Its makes no sense at all really does it. i ask a simple question to which you answered. Ok there is a hint of sarcasm in my posts but that is just down to my 'warped' sense of humour. So no need for the kind of replies you are posting. Anyone would think this is a car forum for sharing information.

As for who builds my engine, if you do a search on here you'll find that i have never got involved with the whole, MAD vs SCS vs AG vs NORRIS vs HADLAND tuner wars shit......as its completely anal!!!! And alot of people who i know on this forum personally ( who are top people in person ) are made to look like complete dicks the way they have their head up their tuners arse! So please do not put me in the same category. But on that point, yes i do think Mark builds fantastic engines. Thats why i have used him for the past 6 years. Can no one else build a good engine?? of course they can but according to some posts on here you wouldn't think so. lol

ps. i will give myself one of these, as it would seem you do actually use (old) f1 spec springs in your builds

i'm sure your more than competant at building engines, but i doubt you'll see Harvey/ Mark Shead/ etc etc on here calling people KNOB etc

the original question was directed at me because it was me that said f1 springs and as usual the pf gang jumped on my back and then started taking the piss...read the thread again and the question came from another thread where miker asked me a spec of an engine...yes you might be right i do get defensive but to be fair im not a bullshitter and i try and say the facts as i know them and yet people still disbelieve you or think your talking shit!!!so of course i get pissed of...
iv said loads of times i dont own a company or advertise to build engines so i dont have anyone to please specialy on here...if people want me to build them an engine or go to luke at enhanced performance thats great and then when and if they meet me they will find out im ok...

Do you mean cause you said Joe did something with an engine that was only a few years old not decades old like I had referred to when talking about valve springs? Fail to see how you think that was correcting me TBH, you appeared to be talking about something different as a 2007 car still wouldnt have had valve springs.

Even with that 2007 one you mention, I would imagine he's still just doing hand-me-down repair work on engine, not developing them for the manufactuers like you have (intentionally or not) been implying to people it would appear, but I dont know the details so didnt comment.

I couldnt care less what he builds or not, only person who's abilities I really care much about as an engine builder are my own as thats who builds my engines.
