Polaris Grey Sapph Cossie
What you reckon one would look like in Polaris?
Im tempted, very tempted, to do mine in it rather than its original Mercury. Cant say Ive seen one done and I love Polaris on Escorts and is my fave colour for them.
So what do you think???

Id never do a colour change on any cossie personally, and id defo stay with mercury. For the difference it would make, is it really worth it? It will raise suspicion when you come to sell it and limit your market fo sure.
Obviously its your choice, but if i 'was' doing a colour change id try something diffferent, i think an auralis saff could look good! Or i really do like them in radient red.

I don't like Sapphires in non standard colours because they look naff. There is an imperial blue one around my way and it's a beautiful colour but it looks so wrong on a sapph. For that reason I voted to keep it mercury Mercury is also quite rare, if you want to change the colour get a common white one

my first cosworth was for sale in the autotrader with no colour mentioned ,i rang the fella and asked what it was and then
said "tell me its flint grey" so he said its flint grey, when i turned up
it was fookin mercury grey i bought it anyway and ended up liking it but you can't beat flint grey if its the proper shade unfaded

Not a Cossie, but you get the idea.
This is Polaris Grey as originally painted from new.
And to give you an idea on the metallic content:
and this is how they can shine when kept nice:
Gotta go Polaris

i agre i think changing the colour is not the brst idea as if i was looking at a sapphire and i knew it had a colour change i would not buy it but got to say the flint grey is a nice colour but the ultimate daddy colour is smokestone fkn love that colour i was going to but one after i sold my white sapphire but he was wanting top dollar for it and the paint job was crapi even got insurance for the car and i looked great in the photos but not up close and i am to picky but if i had bought it i would need to bare metal respray it and thats not cheapgo with smokestone if you do decide to colour change it

Purely because its original colour is Mercury and there aint too many left then its stayin as it is.
Maybe in the future Ill do another one Polaris or I may just do it properly and buy a Polaris Escos, THE ONlY Escos colour IMO
