Default FAO PEEPS RUNNING ALS

do you run your turbo water cooled or not???

i know alot of people in rst's dissconnect the water feed on standard cars as some belive its better but never noticed on als equipped cars??

(i have the proper 247 shaft in the turbo)

opinions please

i brought gus s maram shafted turbo and i was thinkin this aswell but im running a pro alloy turbo cooler so this should compensate for the extra heat!

he only drove the car from FMS to crays hill essex show & home again on it,,,

about 10 miles

yeah cant wait to get it on the lump and get it droped of to tommy!

got to have the exhaust housing changed as he was usin a 38 and im going to run a 48!

well the bigger the exhaust housing the bigger the lag!

on a 1600 it will be massive!

id down size it if i was you!

mmmmm

will have to speak to tommy about that then as my housing is quick release too???? so wanna keep it realy or ive seen em sell fo Ł150 on there own

spose thats what the als is for

yeah! but id rather it have quick spool up and use the als for fun as apposed use the als all the time!

it also depends how its mapped! my mate has a 63 on his cossy managed 1600 rs turbo and it was fookin laggy but the bloke who mapped it put a bit of ignition advance low down in the rev range and this proper transformed the way it drives now!

so you might be ok!

dont know off hand mate

check the end of the shaft to see if it has 247 stamped on it

also put a magnet on the shaft if it isnt magnetic it prob is

All GrpN means is showroom class, ie had to run the same size turbo as standard, so wouldnt know if it had a maram shaft without testing it
