i had a spring bolt joint on my tt,
but with extreme amount of engine movement (ie big power or bad design engine/gearbox mounts) i wouldn't say there up to the job, as on my xr2tt with 180-200 bhp, vibratecnic mounts and spring joint, it still cracked twice, and after i fitted a flexi never had a problem.
