Default Alternatives to Paypal??

Are there any that are as easy to use??

Once again the robbing bastards have stolen money from me, but this time they have also charged me a fee for the pleasure of taking it.

The odd thing is that when they do this, all the buyers contact details disappear from Ebay, so when I go back to the Auction, I cannot view the buyers details. That's what makes me even more sure that this is a f*cking scam.

I'm on hold right now, talking to someone in fooking Pakistan or somewhere. I think she wishes she hadn't answered this call.

Could you email/pm or post here the number you've got to complain on cos they still owe me moeny too!

I use nothing but cash and cheques now, also VERY rairly bank transfer. its just easier and more reliable/traceable. Paypals just one BIG con form start to finish.

I have seen another few companies/sites like paypal but they're either not big enough for me to trust with my money or just as bad(expensive) as paypal

christian

1) add me to msn

2) know how ya feel, if someone genuinely wants to buy something off you, why cant they go to a local branch of your bank and pay it straight in?

unless u dont wanna give ur sort code and account number, but im sure nothing can be done with that info!

Full of horror stories. Anyone who uses it needs their head examined. I've since discovered they are a private institution and are not covered by any banking code of practice or financial regulator. Which means, as consumers, your f****d with them.

The old methods work the best - cash, cheque or postal order

Thing is you have no come back with any of them if you're a buyer, so limit the amount of people you sell to. No matter what people say, Paypal IS the prefered option either way

Preferred for who, certainly not consumers, they rob you blind and offer no support when its needed.

Maybe no comeback with the old methods, but hardly any comeback with Paypal either. Personal choice but if it was paypal or a 300 mile round trip to deliver the cash in person, I know which option I'd choose.

Nochex is good and simple too just ashame u can't have there icon at the bottom of ya listing

i've found now i just make peeps pay straight into my bank account

if i accept any paypal payments i have a seperate account just for paypal stuff which i can tranfer funds in and out as i please (instantly online) this means that if they wanna draw funds back out they can't cause theres nowt in there to start with and no overdraft set on the account

i've found this way works and will stop ya selfs being robbed 1 month down the line

If a chargeback was made to an empty paypal account, your paypal account would go into a negative.

Next time you receive money it just reduces the minus on your account.

paypal AND ebay are fucking pricks,,,,,,,, they dont give a shite when you have been ripped off,,,,,, ive been scamed 3 times on ebay now, thje first time i ahd to make a visit,,,,, the second time i had to tell the bloke im making a visit and the third time i payed with paypal as i got scammed the other ways,,,,,,,, anyway i complained and they "investigated it" the other nob head never replied and so i "won" the claim,,,,,,,,,, but i cant get the cash as they NEVER frozen there account and they emptied it

but 5 weeks later i had a payment from paypall when the guy got money paied in there

its a fucking scam though and its not worth the bother for the cash they charge you imo

ebay have also BANNED ME cause ive had 3 complaints against me, 1 was when i moved into this flat and i had no net access for a month so i never knew about a item i won,,,,,, i just forgot and was too late then

the other was a bloke who NEVER REPLIED TO MY EMAILS TO PAY and he then said i never made any contact and ebay wanted proof i DID,,,,,,,, fuck knows how you do that though so i got another strike

3rd time was for a cd player for me car that was local to me, so i bidded,, they guy said i COULD NOT COLLECT after the auction finished so i thought "ok thats moody" asked for the address to pay he gave me a address in camden but the ebay address is in hayes and hes reason for it is the camden address is hes works one but the cd player is at his home address and thats why i cant collect,,,,,,,,,, hes work address is like 10 mins from me and so i sugested collecting it there and he still refused and said in the auction he made it clear he would POST the item and never made reference to collect it so i assumed its either broken or just another credit card number account scam to get payment and dissapear

anyway he has the cheek to report me to ebay and they blocked my account and asked me to contact them to get it unblocked but i aint botherd as ive been stung too many times and its gonna get worse so this way i cant bid on shite even it i get really weak and wanna

anyway rant over and sorry for the long post

ebay and paypal are both wank
