Default need a bit of help

hi guys hope u can help took my escort cossie out 2 day and the samco pipie coming from the rad 2 the warter pump or the thermsat not sure wat 1 is ctaching my fan belt wen it is spining.

i went 2 bristol in it 2 day and the pipe burst i had the rac out which they patched it up with warter proof tape just 2 get me home but now it has started 2 do it again

do anyone know if there is another pip like steal i can put on that will stop it or what i can do

any help would be wounderfull

Matt,

The rad to thermostat housing pipe is always tight. Although this sounds like a bodge the best way to cure this, is to use cable ties and pull the water hose away from your alternator!

I do this on most cars I work on, and whilst its not the prettiest option is the most reliable!!!

that happened on my S2 yesterday caught on the alternator blades....foooking cars lol

also just check the belts are fully tighten and NOT flapping/bouncing about as the go round
