www.keyind.co.uk

www.tooled-up.co.uk

i think they are the right websites. if not they are something like that.

otherwise try this http://uk.farnell.com/jsp/home/homepage.jsp

might be a bit more expensive though if they do have what your looking for.

good luck

Some of the machine mart stuff is okay - then some of it is not

I bought a Snap On style tool box from em - lasted about 6-8weeks in my van before it got completely out of shape and ended up refusing to let me open the drawers So that went in the bin

Then a had a 3 piece locking plier set (long nosed, round jaw medium, round jaw large) and they were crap and broke after about a month)

That said, the screwdriver set I got from em (Philips set) has been fine, and only one of em has fooked it's tip...

But I do prefer to use Snap On stuff when I can afford it and justify it - there are some things that only Snap On make that I need to do my job, and it HAS to be them - regardless of cost! Like I will only use Snap On's ratchet screwdrivers (which I will use all day long on every single job) cos it is the best by far and seeing as it is one of the most used and important tools in my box, anything goes wrong, they just swap it over no questions

But then for things like spanners and sockets, I use the Halfords Pro stuff - just as good as Snap On but half (or even less than half) the cost

You ever heard of explaining yourself properly!!!! I couldnt find a online tool shop called 'base'....I read it as just buy things off 'base'.

Anyway.....I'd already placed an order with www.tooled-up.com.....& when I'd checked the prices against justoffbase's - worked out I could of saved myself £20....so I cancelled the order with tooled up & ended up ordering the same stuff off justoffbase.....except I got carried away & ended up spending an extra £120 ontop of the £144 I'd just spend for the bits I wanted!!!!

Least I'll be well equipped now!!!
