I paid £2300 for mine
Its a J1 model though I believe? Although I'm not sure the difference between the two?
Its an 2000 X Reg:
15'000 miles
FSH
I'm the 3rd owner
Really really well looked after and maintained
9 months MOT
2 months tax
Brand New Tyres, braided brake lines.
Could just do with the frontbrake pads replacing and thats it
I feel like I gota pretty good deal to be honest

fooking nobs on bikes over taking traffic towards oncomming traffic and so I have to float into the bus lane to avoid the pricks
i dont bother now, i just flash my head lamps and bear right so they understand what im gonna do
kill on them motorcyclists then the decent ones will have a good name
imo they should allow motorbikes in bus lanes and the white lines for em are dangerous when wet and the other option is to play chicken with cars
btw ive lost 2 mates and 1 cousin due to motorcycle accidents and only 1 was rider error,,,,,,, the other 2 was actuall just bad luck,,,,,,,,, my cousins was on black ice and the worst form of bad luck and snapped his neck,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
and on that happy note enjoy your new toy

i agree,,,,,,,, most motorcyclists are just shite at riding,,,,,,, but im sure you aint that bad
as said only 1 mate of mine died when he ran out of luck,,,,,,, but he was trying to over take a car and we think that the car wouldnt let him in and he hit a raised island head on,,,,,,, died a few mins later
the rest had jsut been bad luck
as for people i know that have been in accidents,,,,,,, well im the only one i know that rides a bike and aint had a crash

not the smartest desision but at the end of the day it IS bad luck,,,,,, not like he could see it and tbh i doubt he even knew what black ice was
i know i never even thought about it from that point of veiw until o heard
the helmet was acutally the part tha killed him though belive it or not, it wa a long time ago ( in the 80's) and the strap snapped and forced his head to turn or somink like that,,,,, dont know the exact details as its not the sort of thing you ask you uncle
my point was he wasnt driving like a nob and it was just nature that was not on his side

they wont do it in london as there excuse is the saftey to the veggie eating cyclists when bikes are using the lane,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, they dont seem to think a double decker flat faced 10 foot wide bus doing 30 is a danger to em though
i say let em in the bus lane and none of us would have to worry about em playing chicken towards oncoming cars the have the tosser cut up a car to get out the way of the on coming car

Lambchop - the J1 and J2 are identical apart from the paint work I think, the J1 has the proper rising sun style where the J2 has the pattern more spread out along the fairings
Easiest way to tell is by looking at the tank, if its got a black top its a J1, any other colour its a J2 or even a A1P (636) but it will say that on the fairing
I paid £2250 for my 5600 mile J1 on an X plate, I would say your mate paid a bit too much for his...
John you paid just about right I reckon, I got mine fookin cheap really considering the mileage

I never could work out the difference between the J1/J2 until you explained it.
Sounds like you got a good deal! I wish I had bought mine 2 months ago when I was looking at them as they have shot up in price since Chrimbo!!
