Rod birleys Escort ( Cough ! ) Cosworth is the ex-Collins Demo car , its the same as "Triggers Broom " Since then , same car but differnt shell , different engine , different box etc...
Quick car and driven well , although this year he'll be seeing a lot of the back of may car .

Bill , ive followed him for long enough so now its his turn , lol .
The WRC kit is a "trick " that was needed to allow this to run in a Std production saloon car championship at Lydden in 99 /00 , as its an RS 500 engine on 8 injectors he had to prove that this was used in an Escort , of course we all know that was never the case but the homologation papers mentioned 8 injectors on the WRC version , he added the relevant WRC kit and got away with it .
The cars fast and reliable , but give it some proper competition and it becomes fragile , gearbox tends to break etc.. With mine sequential for the coming season he will have his work cut out staying ahead, my cars beaten him before !!

My uncle who I was out with today is very good mates with Rod as it happens so he will be egging him on, where as I will obviously be cheering you on mate.
