Camaro Z28....
Anyone know anything about them?
I had one chase the RST up the road the other when i still had a cold engine, so couldnt give it a bootfull. This Z28 was all over the back of the RST, what sort of power are they and what sort of weight ? It sounded like a big engine V8 to me.
Then last night i had the same bloke in his Z28 try to race the ST off the lights but it was just starting to sleet, I guess there rear wheel drive and he didnt have the minerals to keep his foot down, and the ST pulled ahead.
I think this guy must have just bought it but its not new, think it was on S reg plates and he's trying to race everything in my local area ( Tonnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeee your RST is required ) would my RST lose to it in a straight fight or is it just another big engined, heavy yank tank ??

PMSL, we should do what we did to that Honda on the way to rallycross that time, the whole RSOC came past him after giving it "the big'un" past us all

There is a '99 Z28 in Car craft this month that does 12's.
It's fairly straight forward to tune them to the 100hp per ton range and it won't strain the engine.

I'll quite happily give you a race in my big engined over weight yank tank its only a pick up too. I wouldn't even request it was straightlines only either
a stock camaro will match your 1/4mile of 14.3 I have see a stock one go 13.9 they actually handle pretty well too.
