exhaust diameter
exhaust diameter on a cosworth going from 3" to 3 1/2" is thera any point and isnt ther suposed to be a given amount of back presure to the turbo and would ther be a noticeable difference just a dissociation really

All you have to do is connect a suitable temperature resistant pressure gauge in the downpipe, if the back-pressure matches the boost pressure, then the exhaust isn't restrictive, if it is more than the boost pressure, it is restrictive - simple.
Obviously if it is only a few psi above, then its not worth changing.
