Default WHAT TURBO???

Ive gor a erst s2 ive been told its running a cosie t3 turbo, is there anyway i can tell what turbo ive got fitted?(standard/hybrid)(i havent got any pics at the mo), its running 16psi at the mo with no probs, are there any visual things ican do to see what ive got fitted?, ive also got a 3"bore magnex exhaust fitted , cheers

As far as I know, Magnex don't make a 3inch bore exhaust.

If it is a Cosworth turbo you would have a custom made downpipe.

Beat me to it

Loads of people say they have cossie t3's on there rs turbo's but stillhave the standard type cast elbow fitted before the downpipe.

Is this possible or not its allways made me think

its defo a 3" bore with a 4"rear box with a inward rolled lip, im asumming its a magnex because theres a magnex sticker in the boot , its not that noisey so could it be a mongoose?

cool, not fussed if its not a cossie t3 its just because thats what i was told??, is there anyway i can tell if ive got a standard hybrid turbo?? like numbers on the outside, the turbo looks fairly new the outsides shiny silver on the right handside, the engine is a 2.0 zvh wth an uprated camshaft everything else is done right just need to find out what turbo ive got

You won't really know unless you find out who made it.

No such thing as a standard hybrid. Look at the exhaust housing, there will be a number on it somewhere, .36 .48 etc

If there is a custome made downpipe then that is a very good clue if it is a Cosworth T3 or not. Like Beach said, if the cast elbow is there then it is an RST T3.

no necisarrily a 2wd and 4x4 comp setup will fit on a rst and my stage 3 units are direct replacements for std rst units but are Cossie spec ie 60trim comp wheel .48 ex housing

Only way to tell is to measure trim of wheel although if a 4x4 comp cover has been used it will have actuator mount holes on cover
