Fook wear a few layers of clothes to try and pad up a bit as when u fall it fooking hurts!!!! lol
And a tip which people didnt tell me until the end. Is make sure your skates are on TIGHT! as trust me this makes a lot of difference as if there a bit lose fook me u will know as u cant stand up on the ice

i went last week to somerset house with work 
used to be able to skate well had me own hockey boots baurer chargers well 15 + years later i cant skate for shit 
3 times i fell over 
and 1 time I slid and took out this women BIG time still got the mark on my nose to prove it was proper funny
by the end I was starting to remeber how to do cross over on corners and mini hockey stops but i thought it would be like riding a bike never forget
a mate at work was like frank spencer on ice proper dangerous arm legs everywhere actually one of the best nights ive had in ages it was soooooooooo funny
edited to add boots werent sharp ice was wet and chopped up thats my excuses anyways

Well ive no broken bones.. and only managed to stack it 3 times.. or maybe 4.. but I was being careful to the EXTREME!!!
its not that hard after about 15 mins but the whole thing really isnt my bag!
soem serious fannys there aswell in suits and jackets doing fancy spins
of course they were duly taken out with hefty shoulder barges

Glad you enjoyed it even more glad you fell over nice venue isnt it but rink is too small and way to busy and was in shocking condition 
the skates they give you were ok enough ie hockey skate style but the blade on the bottom isnt straight which helps put you off balance <---more excuses

Few of my mates go in Notts all the time, not my cupof tea if im honest....
They swear blind the place id rammed full of fit girls wanting it, does temp mejsut for that but ive never tackled it yet

got any blisters Dave??
i have my own skates so dont use hired ones, but none of my mates have so they use the skanky ones from the hire place and they all end up with blisters!! lol
