Default RS500 Intercooler

Away to buy a new R500 style intercooler for my 4X4 saff.

Whats the best one chaps ?

Do they all just bolt on as a replacement to the standard ?

There are a few to choose from pal

Radtec
Pro-Alloy
Forge

Keep your eye open as there are a few second hand mint ones floating around now and again

They bolt just in front of the radiator, if i remember right you un bolt the radiator and move it backwards to the other holes in the chassis legs which are already there and the intercooler bolts into the original radiator ones. You will need another 2x radiator bolts

Any traders on here do them cheaper ?

Might be in touch. How much to post up to near aberdeen?

Phoned the guy from radtec and he said you need 2 x Radiator Mounting kits from ford to fit.

Can you supply those ? Do i definately need them?

u can still get the bolts and bushes from ford for about 60p ea.

was on a site that was sellin a set of bolts and bushes for 11.50!
