best food by far! I love indan food i ought to be about 18 stone!

I like Baltis. At my favourite restaurant at hazlehead nr sheffield, they do a Mixed tandoori balti that is out of this world..not too spicy either. Moped up with a nice garlic nan and surrounded by garlic rice!

Starters are usually fish pakora, the pickle tray or a cChicken Chatt!

God my mouth is watering!

I like Chicken/Lamb tikka Jalfrezi's too.. Bhunas, Dupiaza etc....

Well having spent 19 years living in Bradford, i don't think there's many i haven't tried.

As has been said before - a good curry is all about taste and texture not heat.

Dopiaza's are a personal favourite, but if i just want 'comfort food' as it were - then a makhani is a nice creamy tasty number...

Dansaks are more fruity and sweet...

Peshwari Naans are the ultimate side order - fruity and nutty naan...

Onion bhajis always go down well...

I could go on...

Might go order one now actually

I absolutely LOVE curries.

Don't eat anything mega hot, as I see Greg's point about all that macho bullshit. At Uni, all any of the rugby lot did was harp on about how the could manage a Phial etc........

I like my food, so I'll eat anything that I like - Korma, Tandoori, Dupiaza...

Love that oven clay baked taste to some of it!

Ah, the best curries in the world are 'post piss up'

Number of times i staggered into my local indian restaurant (my other 'local') and murmered something like "the usual please shakeel" and then had a quick nap before it was served...

What's the hottest curry?
In a restaurant the hottest is the Phal. It's a restaurant invention to satisfy 2 types of customer

1) The true Chile-Head who has an unusually high tolerance to chillies and genuinely enjoys extremely hot food

2) The would-be Chile-Head who, after half a dozen pints too many, reckons he can eat the hottest curry in the house. He usually gets about half way and then (multiple choice here) starts crying / passes out / accuses the restaurant of serving bad curry and refuses to pay the bill.

What's the cure for chilli burn?
If you mean what alleviates the chilli burn while you're eating the curry the answer is any dairy produce - milk, lassi (yoghurt drink), ice cream. NOT beer or even water. (although, personally, I don't mind the chilli burn and drink beer anyway!!)

If you mean what helps with "ring of fire" a.k.a. "Bangalore bum" the next day the answer is ..... nothing. It will pass, as they say

Take a look at: http://www.curryhell.com/

"Curry Hell ! The world's hottest curry delivered to
anywhere in the world !"

The Curry Hell Challenge, Curry Hell is a normal sized portion of curry made with chilli seeds and chilli powder served with either rice or chips. If you eat the full portion it is free. To give you an idea of how hot the Curry Hell dish is, Vindaloo is like ice cream by comparison.

If you manage to eat the full portion of Curry Hell you will recieve a signed certificate from the management in recognition of your spectacular achievement.

Friendly Warning !! If you become ill due to the consumption or if you find that you are experiencing any problems with your lover(s) then under no circumstances are you entitled to blame the Curry Capital or any member of its staff.

A full portion of Curry Hell costs Ł6.95

Who's up for the challenge

Chicken Tikka Masala from an English curry house. They taste crap here and are made with old chicken.

Ranj was a top fella and found a recipe for me as did Graham S1 which means I can now enjoy my Tikka here. Well done guys
