On the road have seen a much more modest stack reading of 191mph more than fast enough.

Oh, is this post about real cosworths only?
In which case, about 120mph as i only ever drove the 500 a few times before it got stacked, and any other cossie ive driven hasnt been my own so isnt in the spirit of this post i dont think?
Im going to nitrous mine and take it to brunters and try and set a "cossie replica top speed" record

Popeye, i wasnt saying your 160 on the clocks was more like 145, i was saying ive hit 160 on the clocks in my 3door but i know that my speedo is out and its more like 145 on my car.
Was just a bit unfortunate my post was right after yours as it made it look like a reply to you!

my speedo is out on my cosie,,,,,,,,,,,,, but it under reads due to my tyre sizes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so anyone with different size tyres should get it checked
at 100mph on the gps im doing over around 90 on the clocks
at 30 on the clocks im doing 34mph
so look into it guys
think my tyres are 245/50/17's OR 235/45/17's
its too cold to check

I hit 150mph in my Saff 4x4 once, 2nd time i tried it on the M6 up at the Penrith show it blew up at 146mph, put a massive fist sized hole in the block, some of you might remember as there was quite a few staying at the Travel lodge that Saturday night.
