I have one, but bare with me on this as i dont know the exact model of clifford alarm, its on my brothers BMW.

When he arms it sometimes it can go for days without going off, then other times it will go off and keep going for around 30 minutes usually in the early hours!

I was so pissed off with it at one time that i got out of bed and drove his car off the estate with the alarm going off and dumped it

Its had a new siren, cant think of anything else, he now has to leave the car in valet mode

Why not use the recall feature and ask the alarm why it went off?

I have one I have a concept 600 and when disarming it gives me the low battery warning chirp. However I have changed the battery a number of times and used the other remote but still gives same chirp. What can this be?

Also whats the deal with the wireless immobiliser? Is it worth having it on the fuel pump, or are they more hassle than they are worth?

Cheers

I have a Clifford Concept 300 ( I think) in one of my cars. It was ok when I got the car but over the last few weeks the siren will chirp on arming the car after it has been running but the following morning I will disarm it and it will be silent

TBH I'm about ready to rip it out and put a Toad in unless you may be able to shed any light on it

Hi, It could be a number of things, faulty bonnet, boots switches, sensors set to high, all depends on what sensors are fitted.
make sure that no mobile phones or traffic master units are in the vehicle when its left as they can set of a perfectly working alarm system.
If your ever in blackpool I could maybe have a look at it for you and let you know all what is wrong with it.

Hi, Are you sure its the low battery in key fob warning? It could be that the alarm has gone off and you think its the key fob battery warning.

If your sure it is the battery warning, It sounds like the extended range receiver is in the wrong place this can give week signal and trigger the warning. As for the Remote Immobiliser Pm me and I can advise.

The extended range receiver should be in the front windscreen. Have a look and get back to me. Good luck

Hi, depending on the model of clifford i.e concept 300, 500, 600 it sounds like the siren is faulty. If your ever in Blackpool I could have a look at it for you.

Hi, Your sirens not holding its charge and needs replacing. I can supply you with a new one if you like.

I would advise on replacing instead of repair So not to disappoint.

How much would it cost to do? And is it something I can change myself? Is the alarm much good? I think it's been in there a fair while.

Replacing with a Toad is not the way forward I know
I deal with all the other alarms including Toad and they don't compair with a Well installed Clifford. Sounds like someone has been trying to sell you a new alarm when infact you don't need one.

I could repair it for you.

I really do appreciate the offer and nobody's tried to sell me a new one I'm just thinking aloud mate. An 8 year old alarm is pretty dated and can't be protecting the car as well as newer more up to date system can it? Do you honestly think it is worth repairing? How much would a new siren cost me as I'm looking at buying houses so the wife will beat me up if I start spending our solicitor fee cash on the car

Hi Stu, the extended range receiver is indeed on the windscreen. Its not the alarm triggering becuase its only a single low volume twirp on diarm with no led warnings. I also have intellivioce which tells me of any such event, and it was was working fine for about 6 months. Its very frustrating, is it worth trying to reset the ecu in some way?

Cheers

Hi, Has your extended range receiver got the G4 logo on it? or is it a thin band that has clifford on it?

Hi,
Sounds like its the E,R,R needs changing or the Clifford ECU has a fault.
That's providing the installation and all wiring is fine. I'm thinking if the Clifford ECU is not getting enough power that would upset the range receiver. I could look at it for you if your ever in Blackpool.

PROXY INSIDE THE ARM REST between the seats

dremel tool depends how big the sensor is really for cutting &

drilling there are two plastic bits inside it just cut away whats needed for

a snug fit

ive got a microscan on my car ..with clifford imob as well

microwave scanner you can adjust the perimiter around the car for

it to bleep or full alarm

the pager is awesome

http://www.microscan-car-alarms.co.uk/

if your ok with wires

AWESOME alarm for the price DIY

but not Thatcham approved unless there company fits it

but as long as the clifford imo is there your fine and dandy

I wonder if you can help me out????

I have a clifford concept 50x and the siren has now gone silent? at first it was very quiet and now there is no sound at all. The alarm still seems to fuction OK. Is it possible just to change the siren - if that is the fault? could it be anything else like an internal battery etc...

Thanks for your time.
