Just had delivered a new Spec R header tank, it is pukka and im really chuffed with it
unfortunately they are now supplied with out the pressure cap.
Has anybody recently bought a Spec R header tank for a S2 who can recommend a good place to get the cap from??? as it is not the standard thread type more like a half turn and its locked jobby.????!!!????
like i said well chuffed with the overall tank definitely recommend Spec R just got to try and source a cap from somewhere.
CHEERS!

I,m glad to hear its not using the original cap. The Spec R tank on my Saph uses the original cap and every time i remove it, the seals so tight that the yellow bit comes off leaving the inside of the cap stuck to the tank. I,ve become quite used to reassembling my cap now

A bayonet cap (push and twist) can be brought from any motor factors, and you can choose the pressure rating, about Ł3-4
Try copper grease, as it worked on my alloy tank with std cap.
