Default Do standard 4x4 pistons...

.....fit the 2wd rods??

any pics of both 2wd and 4wd piston/rod assemblies would be helpful.

Also,Sticking 4x4 pistons in a 2wd motor lowers the compression slightly(7.8:1)...

oh didn't realise that, makes sense though.
basically my mate is having a full rebuild using new pocketed pistons and provided his are standard size and in good nick, i'm gonna fit them in mine whilst it's apart, should eliminate the piston slap i get (plus he said i can have them for free, cheers Ad )

Cool......Deffo helps stop piston slap as the 4x4 pistons have an offset gudgeon pin which keeps them sitting tighter in the bore...
