dvd backups

is there any FREE dvd backup programs out there that are any good ?

i have version 6 of nero but dont rate it personally, i need to also be able to copy some mov files to convert to play on a dvd drive so a pukka FREE program would be great. cd's are a thing of the past for backups

any suggestions ?

dvd shrink is really good for backing up dvds
also dvd santa is good for converting

For direct DVD backups, use DVDshrink (google it

) which will allow you to "back up" your DVD's to your hardrive and also compress them down to size to fit on a 4.7gb blank DVD disc. Then use Nero for burning

For turning MOV/AVI/MPEG/WMV etc to DVD compatible files for burning to DVD disc, use WinAVI (download any free trial of it, then PM me for the crack to make it a full copy

) which is a multi format convertiong tool.
