i understand its a rarity, but why would anyone want it, as soon as you use it it looses all value, and if you intend modifying it ata ll, just get a decent rust free cossie to work on, its not like 60k is going to kill them!

Really cant see the point in someone having a car then putting it away just to make a few k when they sell it, if it has been properly looked after an plus keeping it in storage for this time id want more than a few grand back when selling it, just doesnt seem worth it really,
But if i won the lotto i wouldnt be a drastic as Tony T id probaly drive it out the show room an try poping doughnuts in the street an probaly a few full bore launches until something broke lol,
Just waiting on the bufty crew saying that the car is a work of art with such low miles on it lol,
MB.

Its an investment for the right person in my opinion?
30k now could be alot more k in 10 years? providing its kept in minty mint condition and properly stored etc...
Id have it if i had that sort of money.

The missus of a work mate of mine is thinking of selling her 10k miler escoss...think she's after around £24,000 for it.
Cant see the point of keeping a Cossie hidden away...its not like they're a rare car and worth hundreds of thousands...they aint, they are worth 30k at the high end of the market..........Cossie's are for driving not hiding!!!!
I know a chap who keeps a Escort Cossie hidden in his garage and keeps saying its his retirement??!!! Sod that...enjoy it whilst you can

£30K plus costs to get it running properly again
Most of these sitters are real hassle to get going again, you'd be better off buying a regually serviced 50K Esc Cos IMO
Waste of a car unless you only want to look at it

You'd have a very rare 5DR Escort Cosworth for under £30K! Could be the only one in existence...
