When did u`s own ya 1st Cossie?
just reading a post before there and it got me thinking, whats your views on people driving 350bhp saff Cossies at 20 yr old n that, I had one at 20 and I seen a few other young kids on here have as well. what im getting at is this- what happens when you get bored of it , I mean we all get bored of anything and people will always wanna go faster, so is it such a good idea to go straight in and get a big power car like that at such a young age, what do you turn to after that if u wanna go faster, and dont say a 400bhp Cossie.
A TVR Tuscan is still a bit pricey, M3`s just arent as fast simple as that, Evos`s...mmm debatable, Impreza..dont think so.
Anyone got any ideas, I dont regret it but Im bored and just wondered what ya thoughts were

I got mine in March last year, i was 23.
Its only a relativly low power one, so if i want to go faster, then a bigger
turbo and injectors will tide me over for a while.
but to be honest, I didnt buy it cos i wanna make it go faster and faster
all the time. but more cos i always wanted one.

Got my first RS in March 2005 at the age of 23.
I'm now 24 and still love my early 300's Hp Black 2WD Sapphire
There's a young chap that lives in New Zeland that has just brought a Moonstone 3 Door at the age of 17.
We don't get any chavs driving RS's over here. They don't know what Ford RS vehicles are and are far more interested in lowering their Jap crap and fitting them with ultra shiny chrome wheels.

20 on my cossie last year
Insurance was bad BUT saying that it was exactly the same as my orion turbo, i know what id rather have
Do I regret getting a fast car so young YES, coz the cossie costs too much to run daily, BUT i HATE driving anything else coz they aint as fast... catch 22...id have been happy with my 2000 if i hadnt had the cossie first

you lot seem to have got off lightly on insurance...
For my 18th birthday i bought my first G Reg Saff stage 1 leathers, 17in wheels, s/s exhaust, sweet motor.......and i payed 2750 for it.cash.
then i had the lovely task of insuring the fcuker. i was gettin qoutes of 8k 7k 6k.as i had no no claims and had only been driving for a year.I had been doing racing from a young age so knew the power wasnt a problem.but then i thought i got lucky and payed
wait for it
5581 third party...limited to 5000miles a year.....
i had to pay 1580 in deposit and 500quid a month....now that is proper insurance lol
but i did have lots of please in sayin to police that pulled me over all the time....is this a replica sir..no officer...is it yours or your dads...no its all mine lol..
Granted i was skint everymonth with fuel costs and insurance and loan etc but was great to have a dream car at that age.
