My first mag photo pmsl

Page 104, top left hand corner in my red XR2i.

Was from the track day at Brands early December.

You do that mate, thers no real mention of the superb driving from me that day.......... Althought TheBishMan does get mentioned twice in the write up.

Baring in mind he was the ONLY FRS there that day, have a read and see what they say

 

ive only just stopped buying it anyway as i keep wanting to spend too much money on trackdays

prefer it over PF and FF

 

 

It's a cracking magazine, and only getting better by the issue.

Glad you liked the issue and use of the pic. Bit of a horrible day for a track day but you seemed to be having fun! I used to Edit PFord with Ben (who's now launching Retro Ford, out in March) so I always try and get a Ford into TRC as much as I can. Nothing wrong with being biased towards the Blue Oval...

Thanks for the kind comments, I'd like to think we're getting better issue by issue - especially in the last few months. We've got lots more planned for 2006 but as a teaser the April 2006 issue (out Thursday 9 March) features the latest Focus WRC challenger in all its glory. Do you buy the mag because there's often a Ford in it or just a car nut?

i do trackdays quite a bit now so get if for that really.. and just enjoy the content generally.. review new cars from a track perspective is great.. more interesting than the usual how many cup holders does it have nonsense.

you have a great team of writers their as well... id say well on par with EVO mag which i like reading as well

oh and i couldnt care less if a ford was in it or not just love cars

i have 2 trackdays in the next 2 months ... bedford with RSOC in feb and silverstone with goldtrack in march and april going to the ring with PF

 

To be honest Keith, I'm seriously interested in your Tiger Avon build, as I start mine soon too.

Having driven a few, it's amazing what fun can be had for such cheap money!

Mag is a REALLY good read - keep up the good work!

Long time no speak! Excellent stuff, what have you gone for an Avon or R6 of some kind? Zetec or Duratec? The Avon is such a fun car and you can't complain for the money although what started out as a cheap build is already turning into an expensive one...

Keith - Avon, purely to keep the costs down. Will build it up over time, and money allowing, will look towards the 750MC for a bit of racing.........

Oh and Keith, did you do the write up article on the day at Brands? As there was a couple of mentions about the Focus Rs that spun off twice (Sorry JB ) Well.................... That was TheBishMan off of here also, soon as i see it in there i had to ring and tell him. Oh how i emphasised the slating he got
