Default pc question

a few days ago i had a complete wipe done on my pc and a re-install,

now the smilies on the site dont move, i.e. the crying smilie has no tears,
just looks like hes squeezing out a fart

also instead of some pics and sigs i get this

op_stop(); ;op_start();

anybody any idea if this is just a setting i need to change?

It's your firewall is what I think straight away. Hopefully you are actually running one otherwise I'm stumped!

It's Zonealarm mate. I have it myself and the smileys don't move with it on. Turn it off completely, and come back onto PF. Give it a ctrl+z and click refresh. You should find it works normally again.

You do get used to it tho. The op stop op start thing is the ad blocking.

Windows ME is Shat

Once connected to the net, click start, then windows update. It will open internet explorer and connect to microsoft's website and allow you to update windows me. It still won't make it any faster, no more reliable, and you will still get random closing of applications for no apparant reason, and also the infamous blue screens of death
