no, the output voltage will be wrong across the range and won't match what the L8 ECU expects to see. The voltage span isn't as wide as the cossie TPS from idle to full throttle, so at idle the signal will be too high and at full throttle signal will be too low.

ah.. sorry read it wrong..
I haven't had much luck trying to use the eec4 isv on L8.. the one I was using didn't seem to move although it was getting drive signal from the ECU. I didn't look into it too hard as the engine was fine once warmed up for 20-30 seconds..
My favour would be to get a remote isv mounting for a cossie valve, as used on some lancia models - this can be plumbed in with flexible hose connections.

essentially you just need to bypass the throttle plate with the idle valve - so connect valve outlet to the inlet plenum side of the TB and the valve inlet to the front side of the TB
On the zetec turbo that i did, I connected the valve between inlet manifold (drilled a new port) and the charge carrier crossover pipe.

pipe going off to isv inlet coming off charge carrier just in front of the TB:

isv outlet connection to the inlet manifold - one or both of the goldy coloured pipe stubs (the larger, original ones - the copper ones are additional for boost gauge connection).
