WHAT CAR POLISH DO U ALL USE????
#43
Use an an Autoglym finishing cloth and you won't get any residue, no matter what polish you're using...
I always use AG, with a claybar occasionally on my everyday car...

If you want to show good before / after pictures you need the same angle and lighting conditions etc otherwise the camera can hide things.
Heres a good half n half shot of a golf I worked on :
Theirs no wax on that yet either

Blitz should be easy to use unless you are putting to much on (how much actually sticks to the surface ?) see how thin you can get it.
Hope this helps,

I use a trade wax. Its just called "pink trade wax" and is exactly that. Pink wax.
Its the best stuff I've ever used and is cheap as chips! Its really easy to work with and copes fine if the cars wet or dry, hot sunny day or freezing cold!
Ocassionally I'll mix with autoglym extra gloss protection or add that on after.

For the paint I use Clearkote Vanilla Hand Glaze on the spiderwebbing, then a layer of Poorboys EXP synthetic sealent and top it off with Pinnacle Souveran carnuba based wax. This gives the deep reflections I want without the overly shiny just washed look I don't want.

The low durability is why I use a layer of synthetic wax underneath.

Never heard of mixing AG red and yellow (gold ?) before, but use what ever works and works well.
Topping with p21s will help with the overall looks. If your ever in the states pop in a harley dealer and buy a pot of S100. Rumored to be the same as p21s (same tub, text fonts etc but different name) but the bikers wouldnt pay the high price so it got rebranded 'S100' for them.
Cheaper in $ than we pay in Ł

Are you on Autopia or similar ? It just that poorboys is a bit of a niche (sp ?) brand and not well known outside detailing circles ?

Quite novel to talk with someone on here within the detailing cricles, the kind of person who gets exited by microfibre cloths .
Most people on forums like this fall into either AutoGlym or Megs fanatics usually.
