It looks like a nice car but quite how the designer got from the current scooby to that I have no idea.

It looks a complete piece of shit IMO... total mess, way too many different styles all thrown in together. I can see lots of different styling ques from lots of different cars: Audi TT, new shape Audi A6, V6 Clio, etc, etc.......

Stick all those together and you're bound to end up with something nice

the back looks like one of them TVR'S a bit.

most new designed cars are a bit weird looking but when they have been around a bit we get used to it.

They hae got to come up with some new designs you know.

Thing is, hardly any of these concept cars ever come to fruition. (Thank God)

I think that a toned down productionised version of that would probably look quite nice.

Thats a car made by Pro-drive, the same people who do the Prodrive Performance Packs for the scooby,

some details :Prodrive’s philosophy behind the design of the car was practical performance. Weighing just 1100 kg and with a power to weight ratio of more than 350 bhp/tonne, P2 is expected to reach 100 kph from standstill in under four seconds and carry on to 280 kph. Yet, despite the focus on weight reduction, P2 has all the comforts of any modern car, with a six speaker stereo system, power assisted steering and electric windows.

P2 uses a modified Subaru Impreza STi engine and all wheel drivetrain, which incorporate two of Prodrive’s innovative technologies to enhance performance – ALS (Anti-Lag System) and ATD (Active Torque Dynamics).

The two-litre flat-four engine is fitted with Prodrive’s ALS . This has been derived from the same system currently used on the Prodrive-designed Subaru World Rally Car, but modified for use on the road. ALS can keep the turbo on boost at low engine speeds, giving the car immediate throttle response and improved performance by using more of the engine’s 575 Nm of torque throughout the rev range.

Guys this car is something that Prodrive have taken on themselves to create...... purely as a concept car.

The fact that is has between 360-380bhp with next to no weight (for what it is), coupled with Prodrives ATD system...... basically means it is an absolute weapon!

Put it this way....... not much on the road would get anywhere near it in handling terms for the Ł40k! Just a shame it may never see the light of day.
