The duratec is an all alloy engine so lighter than a cosworth.

Although I heard someone is making lined alloy cossie blocks for mega bucks.

I cant see why you're all looking past the small light all alloy zetec-se which fits just fine in the KA engine bay.

£25k will buy you 335bhp and 9000 rpm of normally aspirated "Cosworth" (Millington) engine - 2.5 litre and 80kg .

Alternatively, it would buy you Martin's Cossie lump - 700bhp / 500lbft...

I know which my money would be on .

Stick a B18 honda engine in it.

Light as anything, 9000rpm in standard trim, and 220bhp with a good exhaust and filter and a remap.
