But come on..... unless you cant cut your dubs to plate or only have CD's / mp3's.... Vinyl is the ONLY way to go
I agree, but having played with everything else, i want to play with MP3 and Wav on a pc now... Never knock it till youve tried it IMO.

I dont have to actually like the music to appreciate it TBH, and after a couple of beers i reckon i can dance to anything... i normally do 5 - 6 hours dancing a night to a range from funky (Hed kandi style) to hard (Lisa Lashes style) House. Due to my 16stone frame i have ankles and calves Arnie would be proud of!!

Must admit, never been to a decent DnB event. Must pencil it in

You cant let technology pass you by.

1210's and a mixer you cannot beat but dont go rubbishing technology just yet!

CDJ's, mp3 mixing, finyl scratch etc is the future IMO. Still can't beat vinyl though IMO!

I haven't a clue about mixing etc AT ALL

But hopefully I can learn some stuff from tinkering and pissing about. No doubt it will take a long time tho. Would like to do stuff just for fun to be honest. More a rock fan as said before so will probably have to get into a few more dance tunes as mixing rock music is gonna be strange I imagine, although I could probably come up with some interesting stuff

Having spent a couple of weeks there as a teenager i can confirm that

I think the most popular song when I was there was Captain Jack which was literally some guy grunting his way through the song then screaming about Captain Jack at random intervals

Shouldn't forget the song that had a German verse with a chorus of "SUPER MARIO!!" neither

Except you dont seem to be able to configure an output for teh headphones to work as monitors via the software and instead i have to unplug teh rears and swop em for headphones...
Thats the main glitch i see so far...

Ive mailed creative to see if theres a better option im missing, the software is damn complex (And 700mb lol) and you can configure the jacks to do most things you would want.... and it seems to have 16 outputs and even more inputs, including TWO full blown optical inputs... But using simple headphones seems excessivly complex!!

Must try the 7.1 with Doom 3 later, apparently this soundcard can give an extra 10FPS too.
