the FRS went like hot cakes cause it was a one off and restricted in sales

if it was sold for a period of time then no it wouldnt be a great car,,,,,,,,,, the frs is a track based car we are all talking about,,,,,,,,,,,,,, how many REALLY track em and how many just drive em as a toy cause its the latest RS


if they also sold soooo well why is there a problem getting old of parts,,,,,,, infact ive NEVER sold a single FRS part in 7 months,,,,,,, my branch has NEVER sold a frs part ??

it was a limited sales and the huge gap made it a car for people to buy thinking that there bringing the RS back into production

why did then bin the fiesta RS then ?


ford have lost there grip on the market and wil have to spend BIG money to get back into it,,,,,,,,,, the focus ST is a good example,,,,,,,,,, its a great car and yet the FRS owners say " its not a rs, it dont deserve a RS badge

these are no different to the cosworth owners who claimed that skylines and scobys are crap cars and will NEVER be bettter than the a cosworth

well i do have onsite access to infomation and also i do work in a few branches and actually RUN the smaller branches if there manager is off, i actually get to see what goes on and whats available and ask questions about it to my group managers and get told why ford have binned 10% of there staff at christmas and it wasnt so they could retire early


the reason i got a job at ford was to progress and get a idea of the WHOLE business and for that reason i work on EVERY part of the department and not just the front counter/back counter ect

also my branch is one of the better performing ones which is actually carrying another smaller branch and also the slowing sales/service department too as they CONSTANTLY make losses more that there profits,,,,,, most of that is due to having staff that car more about football than they do the products they sell and aslong as they geting paied they dont care

also couple that with the fact i seriously enjoy my job helps too

quite the opposite actually, i find they are spending too much time on "the right image" and not looking at what people are actually buying/wanting

losing the bt contract to vauxhall is a crazy move and i cant belive that happened,,,,,,,, transits are fords break and butter cause we sell more transit parts in our place than any other vehicle


the ST is a good idea of changing there approach and its a great cracking car,,,,,,,, fords main problem is they never actually change a car these days, they face lift it then change it,,,,,,,,,, mostly the face lifts are just lights and adding a few lights in the bumpers

the fiesta is a great car,,,, got the nice looks and the image, nobody has slagged the fiesta ST off as its such a good looking car and for the money is a great deal

to focus seats are alot nicer and that well laied out, just there styling is WANK on the car, brushed alloy surounds on the fog lamps and them wheels,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, not to mention its tooo much like focus ghia,,,,, least the fiesta zetec and st look different with the stripes

I'd love an ST - hope they bring out a 2.2 TDCI version though I might stand a chance of getting one then!!

everyone slagged the focus RS off when they came out saying they weren't an RS FWD etc etc... no they seem be best thing since sliced bread

glad i never had to mention it,,,,,,,,,, i didnt wanna go and say everything but yeah totally,,,,,,,, they should have made it rwd/4wd and the comments like " it will never be a cossie or looked at like a cosie


now they all bought one and are fiting that corner,,,,,,, i still think that stared woth the rs16I owners personally
