Proper Cosworth Engine! 1000bhp
Sorry its not a YB though!
Interesting picture though. F1 Turbo engine. 1.5Litre V6. Cool man!
For sale for 15k if anyones interested. Martin would be able to make it fit I'm sure and Stu would probably be able to get it through emissions and able to run at Lambda 1 on the Motorway

Some details as well if you are interested
Description
We Have available three (3) of these used ex F1 engines built around 1986, they are the GBA 1.5 litre V6 twin turbocharged engine. They originally produced 750 BHP and can run 1000 BHP with boost and fuel adjustments. They come complete with injectors and ECU's but it would need to be stripped down and checked before running. All other components like manifolds, turbos, flywheel and clutch are all present. £15k is for EACH engine, not for all of them.
History

I remember a programme on channel 4 years ago following the development of this engine for the Hart F1 team before Ford swapped over to Benetton
They actually started first with a 4 pot ( possibly even an early YBB engine as this was around the same time)
but it could not go over 12000 revs without exploding so they went with this engine instead.
There used to be a Benetton with one of these engines fitted, in the Sports Cafe in Cardiff when it was down the bay before it closed, it may turn up again when they finish the new one in the city centre

You going to Llandow, I am hoping to dust off the old bus and take it down if all goes to plan, might see you there, still have not seen your motor either yet.
