offsets question

Default offsets question

i own a ford capri. got ford spec alloys with a ford spec offset

bidding on some alloys with offset to suit a mini

is that gonna be a no-no, or nothing a bit of machining wont sort out?

please help out a clueless peep

I don't know, but one thing I can say is that its not really safe to have Mounting faces of wheels machined, as the bolt holes may become shallow.

Also, what fitment are they? Are they even the right PCD?

doubt very much the bolt pattern is the same.

says BMW mini is 4x100

Ford is 4x108

Metro/Mini is 4x95.25 (same as MGF i think)

don't bother, they'll never fit.
