I personally love going to the shoot outs and track days and watching cool cars do their funky stuff! I think it is a shame if people are (tuners esp.) put off because they feel like they are being cross examined and tested. Because if we are all being brutally honest, speed most of the time comes down to budget, just look at F1. So to compare like for like, is a bit OTT, and whats the point anyway a lot of the time? Far play slate someone if they are talking total bull, like me claiming I have a 1.1 Festa that will do 140mph but plausable let it be.....in Karls case it's not like you have never seen his work before, like the twin cossie cooler for the ERST etc. etc. and all the messages of thanks from peeps on here. To be honest if my lively hood was on the line (or so it felt like) if my car performed or not, based on Internet gossip, I don't think I would even consider using it, and that pressure to perform would probably take the fun and point out of it in the first place .....building quick cars is supposed to be a bit of fun peeps.....

Dont worry, us Tuners do still remember the folk who respect our wishes and respect th fact the help we give is valuable and appreciate it. Im sure if theres any help required by those individuals we wont be too far away from you....

Karl sounds like fun mate. I would say irrespective of what gear your in then it would still be nice to see how quickly yours gets to say 0-100 or 180mph etc in comparison to the other 600hp+ cars out there now. That was the main principle behind what I was getting at.
Sounds like you've got yourself a bit of a top end screamer judging by how you describe it. Very much like my preference of engine.
If it was me and I knew I had the power I couldn't wait to strap the timing gear on to see what she does as life without healthy compitition is boring.
Besides back to the main point, I would like to see how it would compare to the others in my league. I am sure time will tell. Until then good luck in your continual development.
More and more big HP cossies and RST's are turning up on the scene...infact now more than ever so I am sure things should begin to spice up even more resulting in us Ford boys together proving that our Dagenham dustbins are something to worry about at shootouts + ofcourse as I said before shootouts will be more interesting knowing that there is healthy compitition out there to race.

I didnt prove my engine cause a rather nice GTR came along BUT the engine is now sold,so i guess it will get proved..although i aint totally sure on what power it will be running.
Plus i dont beleive for one minute that Karl and Stu WOULDNT help me out if asked!!!!!!

Ima i don't know you and from the impression i get from you i'm glad, it seems like every opportunity you get to have a pop at Karl you take.
I can honestly say i have NEVER met a nicer bloke or more trustworthy than him in the tuning scene, i mean he tuned my car for about 7 hours and charged Ł120, which when you work out how much that is an hour (Ł17.15) my company charge treble that for 1 hour of my time and i know 1/4 of what he knows about cars! Then because my ECU had a boost cut he told me get it rechipped then bring it back and he would set it up AGAIN, how much did he charge?????

Another 4 hours of his time (Which he could have used with a paying customer) just to please me! I think it's very unfair to suggest that Karl doesn't help people out, i feel for Karl and hope that he doesn't take the comments of a few synics to heart and realises that hes LIKED far more than hes disliked!

it dont need the oil changing ding cos it never gets round the engine as the spray bar is blocked solid
