Why arent we all doing this? ( Stu/Karl/Martin/MAD/Tony ?)

theyre the outlets from the turbos going to the inlet manifold in the middle right? so where does the boost from the smaller turbo go?will it just be chattering away like a good un? i have only looked at fudges simple diagram btw so if theres a bypass in the system ill apologise now,but thats all i see!

Thats the problem mate, its all going to go all sorts of places it shouldnt.
Ie, like Karl said, it wouldnt work

but even if fudges ballbearing device was fitted it wouldnt work! youve suddenly made the small turbo try to spin both ways at the same time! that would be VERY bad!its trying to produce boost, but the boost has NOWHERE to go,spinning it back, stalling the damned thing, doing god knows what to the actual exhaust gasses in the exhaust, theyd probably be trying to go back in the cylinder through the ports!

er...the turbo needs to KEEP spinning! not just dump once, can a dump valve be used in this fashion? would it not wear out VERY quickly?especially seeing as the turbo would still be being driven by the exhaust!
#92
and the dv would have to be ENOURMOUS to release that kind of pressure!only small holes in a gay valve, which would still cause the stalling as the turbo would produce boost quicker than the dv got rid
#93
wastegate would stop the smaller turbo spinning potentially. but then that will cause lag and all sorts of other issues.
Basically, it would appear on this one, for every solution, there is a problem!

Why are you guys trying to "fix" a flawed system?
Start again and design it propperly!
Personally what worries me the most is the NOS jets on the bigger turbos housing, what a stupid idea.
So, you have....hot compressed air from the turbo, NO2 (containing oxygen) AND FUEL, all the way through your inlet tract, ducting and pooled in the bottom of your intercooler - all though these guys don't seem to be using any form of intercooling! 100deg charge temps anyone? (with fuel in there )
Smart I think it'd just a show car someone didnt think through very well

The nitrous is to cool the inlet charge so you dont need a compressor, seen it done tons of times on drag cars and so on, i dont see how its stupid.
IIRC Porsche did it at least once back in the day before it was deemed ilegal.
Though generally the fuel is injected further down the inlet tract.
But even there shouldnt be a real problem, there are countless older turbo conversions where the carb was BEFORE the turbo, so all the fuel and air went thru the compressor...
But that car is BS, a show car that wouldnt work, and everyones solutions wouldnt properly either.

Anyway, to back up my point about being stupid:
Becaues if you injected it later on it would still be a liquid when it got into the chamber, which would mean:
It still cooled the charge before combustion, which is what matters
It doesnt take up valuable space that could be used by boost instead
You could potentially run less boost to get the same mass of air in (due to not needing to try and force up the ports alongside a load of gaseous nitrous) and hence you would generate less heat in the first place.
So wether you have seen it before or not, its still bloody stupid TBH
