no its not anymore involving as that, as long as u have a little engineering know now or know someone. it realy is very easy to build a ZVH lump
and also i think his problems are with his engine not the hole car, so luke is very true

It does if the loom, ECU and sensors you're using are the same ones that were causing the hassle in the first place!

who you calling stupid? wanker!
a rebuilt zetec with a mad for it zvh conversion kit is the cheapest possible way of building it. into a car thats 15 years old with 15 year old wiring, sensors, multiplugs etc. there's more to a car than a engine!

cheap engines are exactly that! CHEAP

zetec engine is sayŁ100
mad for it kit is say Ł150 a guess as i dont know exactly

Ł250 for a zvh

bet that'l be good.

be worse as the engine he's got!

someone got out the wrong side of bed today

im sure there is a few peeps on here that have a standard bottom ends on there ZVH with out any problems. and you dont going putting a engine together with out checking the bearings and seals first.
the kit from mad for it, will cost nearly Ł200 as the engine mount isnt in the kit and a few other things.

this topic has turned to shit in a big way!
it started off that al you needed was a zetec block and a conversion kit. poor zvh
now it seems you need a new loom, sensors, engine mount, someone that has knowledge etc,
not gonna be so cheap now is it, u still have the unreliability of a 15 yo car surrounding the engine. if your that fussed rebuild the original engine. be far less grief!.
