high just bought some diamond cut rs 17" 7 spoke rims to go on my escort escort gti r reg mk7.whats the widest tyres you can have on there and weres the cheapest place to get them?ive got 205 on there and look to skinny .will 215 or 225 be ok on there???will they rub????

205 40 17 is the best easily mate,
I put 235`s on and they looked pure shit, so I went n got another set of 205`s .
Also the wheel you have bought if you look is 7.5 x 17 not ya usual 7x17 so the 205`s fit nice n tight over them no bother
