try saying that when u own one

 

take 1 standard gti-r , increase boost to 1 bar,add exhaust + filter and they can usually do the 1/4 in around 12.8 with a good lauch

here's some examples of gti-r's with just a few mods doing 12's

Ben that i know with the white pulsar (his bro is the one on here with the 4x4 cossie mk3 fiesta) has ran consistant 12.6s with just filter, zorst, and bar of boost too.

And to make it even more funny, at a recent RR day (think it was featured in redline) he got the lowerst figure of the day with somthing silly like 230bhp! so 12.6s with 230bhp, pmsl

mines the gtir and not the cossei had a cossei befor the gtir and it was to big for me so got the gtir never looked back used to swap my car every year had the gtir 2 years now and cant see me geting a new car till some time next year its way to much fun

i no hu was driving that saff, he is 17 i think and has not long passed his driving test and plus that woz his first time up the drag strip and also 1 of the first times he has droven that car up the strip so giv him his credit

sorry bout the 420bhp it is a different cossie runnin 420bhp not that cossie u dragged against

 

my sunny was - bleed valve, full exhaust, 1bar

12.28 @ 112mph

No back seats,spare wheel jack etc - takes less than an hour to mod from standard

Absolutely ace little car - tanned a harvey gibb 400 conversion escort whole way down 1/4 even after a bad launch would run 12.5s all day on shagged clutch
